Development Process
This
approach is for the low producing loan officer (2-5 transactions a month
regularly) who has established appropriate product knowledge, identified
a market, and done some preliminary work in assembling appropriate
marketing collateral, but who is not able to increase his or her
production.
This
11 week process takes the loan officer from initial assessment and
preparation through a 10 week marketing campaign cycle.
Weekly conferences, or "one-on-ones", with the loan
officer identify what is effective and what is not in what they are
doing. In addition, it
forces the use of the planning calendar and the contact management
system.
After
this process, the loan officer should have adopted new business
management habits, or is able to evaluate whether the career is
appropriate for him or her.
